The Wedding is finally out!
Guys, I don’t think that I could be more excited! I spent the week as sick as anything and am still coughing and hacking but I feel approximately 1,000x better than I did when I wrote my last newsletter!
I got my brain tickled in the name of civic duty and did not have the Coronavirus, woo! I still felt horrendous, though. The proof-read and edit for The Wedding was all finalised earlier in the week and now I’m back to The Baby with an extra side project called Dreams.
My books are all in Kindle Unlimited now, too, but I’ll get into all of that during the Cruise Control update!
Before that, there’s three BookFunnel giveaways and six books on the table, today. So without further ado…
This BookFunnel promo has 91 books in it, I’ve got both The Album and The Wedding in there. It also has The Belle and The Biker in it, which is the sequel (kind of standalone) to a book I told you about a while back and loved called A Billion Times No.
This giveaway has 115 sexy, seductive, and exciting romance books or samples in it. I’m not telling you how many books I downloaded, let’s just say it’s between 5 and 115…

Is it the stress from family drama or something more serious? Once she discovers the cause, she must make a decision that will alter her life forever.
Follow Kate through her shifts in the busy emergency room and her chaotic personal life on her journey to discovering the root of the issues.
She told lies – and he believed them.
She hesitated to fall for him – but he showed her true love.
She took the risk of loving him – and he found out the truth.
Adam Mason lost his memory, but Georgia McKinley found him. She chose to tell him lies to keep him on her ranch. Her lies made them fall in love with each other.
But, can something real come from being based on a bed of lies?
Middle aged Holly, after a long day of work, needed to get loosened up at her favorite local massage parlor.
Since she was a regular, Hunter told her to come in anytime. Today, she felt she needed the full treatment however long it took.
To her surprise, she was told that Hunter added a new toy to his collection; a self-massaging top-of-the-line hot tub. Hunter tried convincing her it was worth a try.
Will Holly take Hunter’s word for it or will he have to use his hands to please his needy client with an over the top HEA?
My life is such a glorious mess.
Honda Sensei is a tough cookie, a man-shaped headache, and he slipped under my skin with just the right amount of rough play. His wife Yuki? Let me worship this goddess every day, please. What we do the three together… no amount of holy water can cleanse us.
But thank goodness, we don’t always take Yuki with us down our crazy road, even if ‘kinky’ is her middle name. Only damaged people like Sensei and I can handle it, and she’s too precious for this kind of madness. Because the guy is maybe a control freak, but the size of the skeletons in his closet? Dio mio, I bet they’re just as big as mine.
What freaks me out, though, is that the deeper we go, the less the world makes sense. Because those nightmares? That creepy boy? The obnoxious granny the other day? Not normal. At all. I haven’t been so anxious since… since those murderous bastards tore my life to pieces. But I can’t tell them about that, oh no. Nobody can know.
Since the day of her birth, Princess Faedrah Austiere has been defined by her place within the kingdom. As the single heir to the half-blood gypsy king and his prophesied white queen, she is fiercely protected, shuttered inside an ivory castle and well-trained in the art of war.
Yet neither her obligations as future queen nor the black infestation threatening her kingdom fail to hinder the mysterious pull of the antique armoire hidden in her parents’ bed chamber. And stealing the golden key for a leap through time is the only way to confront the dark lord haunting her dreams.
One face. The image of one defiant, relentless woman has been stuck in Rhys McEleod’s head ever since he was old enough paint her luscious curves on the canvas. But the day she walks into his life off the street–sexier than hell and itching for a fight–he’s not convinced she’s the same women he’s envisioned since childhood.
That is, not until he spots the golden key around her neck–an object he’d never fully shown in any of his paintings.
Now if he could just persuade his lovely muse he’s not the enemy. Unless the elusive Faedrah Austiere learns to trust him, he’ll never have her in his bed–the one place he’s convinced she belongs.
Love and secrets don’t mix…
Appearances can be deceiving, just ask Carson Allworthy, Viscount Trevor. He might appear the quintessential gentleman described in his mother’s book, but he is no angel, a fact he plans to reveal to Miss Allison Shropshire, whose clever wit, big heart, and love of adventure tempt him to conduct a secret seduction.
Allison may be the only woman in London who finds Lord Trevor’s impeccable manners—to put it bluntly—boring. She’d rather set his mother’s book aflame in Hyde Park than marry Lord Trevor. But an unexpected encounter sparks a desire to know all of the suddenly sultry lord’s secrets.
Will Lord Trevor keep his secrets to himself? Or will he reveal all in order to win Allison’s heart and hand?
I couldn’t resist! New header, this one with The Wedding, yay! It came out, yesterday, and I’m so excited for you guys to read it!
So, yeah, I put both The Album and The Wedding into Kindle Unlimited. It’s a 90-day commitment, so I’ll see how it goes. Let’s be honest, who didn’t think that I would do this after I got personally addicted to reading all those KU books for “free”? I mean…I’m pretty sure my trial is almost up, but I’ll be paying the $9.99 subscription when it does, I’m addicted!
In other news, I have a new project! Remember a while ago, I mentioned a standalone novel called Dreams? Well, I found all of those old chapters that I’d written and I’m going to finish it and release it! If you’re curious what it’s about, this is the working blurb:
What happens when you fall in love with a figment of your imagination?
Cheli is just trying to live her best life, when she meets the perfect guy, Matt. The catch? She meets him in a dream.
Struggling to balance her real life with her dream reality, Cheli and Matt continue to meet in her dreams and she finds herself falling in love with him.
How can a relationship feel so real when the very foundation it’s based on is not? How can Cheli cope when the man she loves doesn’t really exist? Or does he?
I’m so obsessed with this story, I’ve thought about it a lot over the years and I thought that I’d lost it and would ultimately need to write it from scratch, so I’m glad that I don’t have to!
Also, I know, this is the Cruise Control update, but we all know that just means whatever I’m working on right now, right? It just happens that 90% of that is Cruise Control stuff lol!
But, let’s move on to real Cruise Control stuff, I guess!
THE ALBUM – ARIANA AND GABRIEL
As I mentioned last week, I did an author interview about The Album this week, it was so much fun. I loved Char’s questions, they were so insightful and it’s always fascinating to get other people’s takes on the book.
If you want to read the interview, you can find it by clicking here.
The day before the interview, they did a post which included excerpts of The Album, The Wedding, and, The Baby (super duper sneak peek, since the book isn’t even finished!). If you want to read those, you can find them here.
If you want to read the book, you can find it here. It’s free to read if you’re in Kind Unlimited, but on special for $0.99 for two weeks to celebrate the launch of The Wedding.
THE WEDDING – HEATHER AND HARRISON
Oh god, oh god, oh god, it’s out! I want you guys to read it and tell me what you think, so badly! This book is, straight up, my favourite. It’s just…ahhhhh, so good.
When I was uploading the .PDF for the paperback and hardcovers (which I waited till the 6th to do, so the publishing date would be right because I’m a weirdo!), I had to proof it.
I read some of my favourite parts while I was doing it (they come with certain specific things that I needed to check) and it just gives me all the feels. This book, that I wrote, is painfully beautiful to read. I stress that I wrote it, because even knowing every word of dialogue and thought that Heather has, I still feel everything with her.
I know that there will be people that don’t like it, I’m dreading those reviews (and I need to stop reading reviews lol) because when people complained about The Album, I thought, “you’re right, I can rewrite this and make it so much better,”…and I did.
If people say that about The Wedding, I literally do not know how I could make it better. I love it so much, I do. It’s so good and I’m so proud of it and I love it and I hope that you do, too, when you read it!
It’s available here, free to read on Kindle Unlimited or $3.99, otherwise.
THE BABY – LITA AND SEBASTIAN
This currently sits at 118,359 words and I am at peace with it being a bigass book. That being said, there’s something about finishing it that is a problem for me!
I feel like I was telling you guys this a month ago when we were coming up to the 5 week mark of writing (I was), and here I am with the same issue.
I. Love. Sebastian. Fox. I really, really do. Is that why I don’t seem to want to finish this? Because it means finalising his story. It’s not like I don’t get to write Sebastian’s Baby at some point!
Either way…it’s gained about 3,000 words this week, and that’s it. You know what I did write? A solid 3,000 words of Dreams which, by the way, I’m not meant to be touching until I’ve finished both The Baby and Gabriel’s Album.
The Cruise Control novels have such specific release dates, that I need to make sure they’re all in order before I can write standalone stuff like Dreams.
Okay…I promise to you guys…I am going to write 10,000 words on The Baby by the time I send next week’s newsletter…which, incidentally, will be sent sometime mid-August!
I kid, I’ll send it next week and write the words before then. That is my promise to you! Look for a word count of 128,359 or higher, next week…or for the book to be ended, but there’s no effing way I’m ending it in 10,000 words’ time.
SEBASTIAN – YOUNG ADULT CRUISE CONTROL
Speaking of promises, I promised I would always update a chapter before sending my newsletter and Chapter 10 went up today.
I don’t know why I struggle with writing the YA stuff, I love these guys so much and they’re so adorable as teens.
I joked with my friend, “Sebastian’s so cute, he’s not even broken…okay, it’s time to break him!”. Let’s just say that he was a very different human being in his teens.
Don’t get me wrong, he was still arrogant AF, he still thought he was god’s gift to…everything. But he wasn’t yet broken so badly that one day he would need to be put back together piece by piece.
The YA novel is a serialised novel and is free to read on Wattpad. “Chapter 1 – That Dude Is A Douche” is here and if you’re all caught up and just want to read the latest chapter, you can find “Chapter 10 – There’s REALLY Something About Heather” here.
That’s all she wrote, folks! Have a great remainder of your weekend and happy reading!
