It’s almost November!
I can’t believe we’re only 4 days away from November and that means only 22 days until the release of The Baby. I’m so excited!
I’ve recently gotten super into Photoshop and making graphics. I’ve decided to start posting daily quotes about reading on my sorely neglected social media pages. These are two of my favourites, so far!
As you can see, I’ve got a certain…aesthetic going. If you want to follow me, I’m @SianCeinwen on…pretty much every social media platform!
You’ll notice the same aesthetic in the couple of banners I made below. I decided I didn’t like the banner for one of the group giveaways, so I made my own. Plus, I made the banner for the one going to my website.
On the website is also a banner I made for another group giveaway where I wasn’t thrilled with the banner provided by the organiser. All in all, this has made me actually start organising my own BookFunnel giveaways, just so I can make nice graphics for everyone to look at! 🤣
Anyway, that being said, this is the last newsletter for October, so all of the group giveaways and promotions are ending soon. Definitely check out the page I made for my website and have a look at them.
So, today I have the link to my website, three group giveaways, and six books to tell you about before I get into the Cruise Control update!
I made a page on my website which I’m going to try and keep updated with all the current BookFunnel and StoryOrigin giveaways and promotions that I’m participating in at any given time.
In the future, I’ll link this at the top of this section of the email, so you can always go there and find them all if you want to.
All of the giveaways and promotions are ending before next week’s newsletter. I’ve selected three to talk about below, but you can find all of them by going to this link and as I said, I’ll keep this page updated with the current ones!
This BookFunnel giveaway has 50 books in it. They’re all full books, so definitely go check them out!
This BookFunnel promotion has 103 books in it. They’re all in Kindle Unlimited, so free to read with a KU subscription. However, if you don’t have KU, they’re still available for purchase on Amazon.
Shhhh, this is the one I made the banner for. If you click the link, you’ll see the one they used. It wasn’t terrible, I just didn’t love it, and I wanted to play in Photoshop some more.
Aaaaanyway, this one has 152 books in it and they’re a combination of full books, samples, and excerpts. Check them out!
Ermagherrrrrrrrd, guys! So, Misty is one of my favourite people ever. She’s a really, really close friend of mine, and this is her debut. I’ve read the first two books in the Stirling Town series, and they’re so good.
I’m so, so proud of her. She wrote this novella as her homage to the whole “instalove” trope, and it’s so good and enjoyable. I cannot stress enough how much I love it and you should download it!
Aaaaaanyway, here’s the blurb:
Irene Watson is an artist who swears like a trooper. Dillon King is a reclusive homebody. The chance of them meeting is slim to none, but when they do, it will change their lives forever.
Getting away from an embarrassing failed relationship, Irene goes to her favourite place to get her head together and paint. When a storm almost blows her off the mountain, she has to find a way back to her car, and relative safety.
Returning home after battening down the hatches, Dillon stumbles across a trail of paints and brushes strewn across the path to his home. It leads to a tall, feisty blonde with a dirty mouth and a kind heart. She also has a wicked sense of humour, a body to die for, and the passion to match.
With nowhere safe to go but his home, both Irene and Dillon are in for a few surprises. If they can move on from their painful pasts, they may discover a love that lasts a lifetime.
Gah, just reading that blurb reminded me how cute and sweet and SEXY this novella was. Go support Misty and get yourself an AMAZING novella to read, as well!
I know she’s subscribed to this newsletter, so also, hi Misty! I love your guts and I’m so ridiculously proud of you! 😘
No one has use for a Princess. Especially Heath. But I’ve never been a Princess to him. From the second he laid eyes on me I was always his Queen.
This is the prequel novella to the full length book, Hollywood King, which I’ll be linking to next week! Sooooo good!
When Ariel’s friends convince her to go out for a ladies night with them, she doesn’t realize her whole life is about to change. She meets Blake, a handsome enigmatic man hiding a big secret. That’s alright, because she has some secrets of her own she has no intention of sharing.
The problems start when the secrets begin to come out and their lives become hopelessly entangled. Their relationship brings Ariel the attention she has hidden from for years and exposes her to an evil she never believed was real.
Will the secrets revealed, tear them apart? Or will they discover a love that will stand the test of time? Will Blake’s ex-girlfriend cause him to regret meeting Ariel? Or will the men who chase Ariel, catch her, taking her from him forever?
He’s her friend and off limits, but all she wants is him. His life is complex, but all he needs is her.
Merissa meets Joel, and he’s her friend growing up. She has undeniable feelings for him that she’s kept hidden from everyone around her. He is everything she needs and everything she wants. He’s complicated, mysterious and hot. The only problem is, Merissa and Joel are only friends.
Time goes on with Merissa and Joel facing challenges together, but sometimes apart. Real life situations that can make or break them. One question runs through her mind. Should she tell him how she really feels or keep her feelings hidden?
Their love story is anything but the average fairy tale, and it’s far from it. Life is complex, but love is blissful. Here is their story of True Bliss.
I was eleven when I met Chase Adams. I loved him before I knew what lovin’ was.
I pulled, he pushed. I gave, he took. I loved… I lost.
Now he’s back. All grown up and sexy as sin.
But things changed while he was gone. So, he can show those dimples and flex those muscles all he wants. It won’t change a thing. Chase Adams is nothin’ but a lost memory. I’ll do everything I can to keep him that way.
Growing up, there were only two women I ever loved. Neither one of them ever really loved me back.
Until her. Alina. My Goldi.
She was everything that’s good. I was the bad. She was the brightest goddamn star. I was the black hole shredding her to pieces.
I loved her wrong, losing her to my demons. But now I’m back. A better man. I’ll do everything I can to make her remember us, even if all she wants is to forget.
Singer, Rockstar, Asshole
He’s the one thing from my past I’ve tried to forget. He is famous now, a rock god. I’m happy being a nobody … and I wanted to keep it that way
I thought I was succeeding until I came face to face with him once more.
Frosty, Unimpressed, Sexy as Sin
She made my past bearable, kept me sane long enough to drag myself out of the hell I lived in. I repaid her by breaking her heart and leaving her behind.
But now she’s back and, even though I know I should stay away from her, I can’t.
Not a lot is happening in the Cruise Control world. As I mentioned, I took a break this week from their complicated lives.
I did enjoy celebrating Hayden’s 30th birthday, immensely, though. I love when book dates happen in real life and the fact that specific date was written about in The Wedding, I couldn’t resist celebrating it.
I spent way more time than I should’ve, having amusing conversations about Hayden’s birthday…and I have zero regrets about that!
Anyway, moving on…
THE BABY – LITA AND SEBASTIAN
So, since I didn’t do any writing in the Cruise Control world, this week. I pretty much only have the excerpt for The Baby to give you. So, without further ado…
Sure enough, as they exited the hotel, the men in suits took the lead and held back a crowd of people with cameras as they called out questions.
“Gabriel, where’s Ariana?” was the first question.
“Sebastian, are you having a threesome tonight, then?” another person asked to Lita’s horror.
“Harrison, where’s your wife?”
“Sebastian! Is one of these women your new girlfriend?” someone else called.
“Hayden, what about you? Where’s your girl?”
They finally reached the limousine waiting for them and got into it. Lita felt a massive sense of relief as the door was closed by one of the suited men and the people’s questions were shut out.
“Holy shit,” Lita said, releasing a breath loudly as she did. “Is that what you guys put up with every day?”
She’d ended up sitting between Hayden and Harrison along the side of the limousine. Becky was on the other side of Hayden, while Gabriel and Sebastian were seated at the back, facing them.
“It sure is,” Sebastian said to her, causing her to look at him.
Lita swallowed quickly, ignoring the feelings he was stirring inside of her. “Doesn’t seem like much fun to me.”
“It’s the price of fame. We get all the perks—” He paused for a second. Lita saw him look her over once again, and couldn’t stop herself from blushing before he continued what he was saying: “—But we also have to deal with that.”
She could see the amusement in his face as he said it. Lita felt her frustration mounting because she could tell Sebastian knew precisely what he was doing to her. He was still looking at her now. If she’d thought sitting away from him might afford her some kind of shelter, then she had been wrong.
Lita had always wondered why so many fans slept with Sebastian Fox. Well, she finally had the answer; it was because it was clearly too hard not to sleep with him if he’d set his sights on you. She knew, without a shadow of a doubt, that if he asked her to right now, she would sleep with him in a heartbeat.
There was no way she could possibly have prepared mentally for the effect he was having on her tonight. Lita had come here expecting to leave with an even bigger crush on Hayden, yet she had practically forgotten he existed from the minute she had met Sebastian.
Poor Lita, she was ill-prepared for Sebastian Fox’s charm and charisma. She had some very strong opinions of him before she met him based on what she knew about him. Don’t get me wrong, she was correct in those opinions, but she could only judge him based on what she knew and what she knew was his persona.
Over the course of the book, Sebastian is repeatedly faced with the consequences of having the reputation he has, and it starts on this night. Because Lita thinks very little of him as a person when they first meet.
I know already which excerpt I’ll send next week, and it definitely shows that. I can’t wait for you to read it!
In the meantime, you can pre-order The Baby here and remember, if you do pre-order The Baby, you should fill out this form to get one of the chapters rewritten from Sebastian’s POV a year before anyone else gets to read it in Sebastian’s Baby. 😉
